More P.E.T.A fail

So remember the whole thing about P.E.T.A being against Mario, and trying to ruin Nintendo's reputation? Just forget about it. It was all a joke apparently. Here's their response to the fan reaction.

"Mario fans: Relax! PETA’s game was meant to be tongue-in-cheek, a fun way to call attention to a serious issue, that raccoon dogs are skinned alive for their fur. We wish real-life tanukis could fly or swat enemies away with their tails and escape from those who profit from their skins. You can help them by never buying real fur."

Achoo! Sorry, those were my bullshit allergies going off. Clearly they felt overwhelmed by the fan reaction, and had to get their followers back. Not the way to do it guys! Seriously, just go back to taking nudes of celebs no one cares about.
