Mario Bros Wii U
Course it's not real, but this is a great demonstration of what the games can look like on the new system. I really love the design. It's gritty, but doesn't stray too far away from the source material with this cartoony style. We've never gotten to see how realistic Nintendo can make Mario look. Sure if you look at some of their pre-rendered work, the textures look great, but we all know there's so much more that can be done with it, like in the Smash Bros games where the brothers are in jeans, and Mario's fireballs look pretty realistic. That's the kind of thing I'd like to see more of in their new games. Could be sweet.
I also love the BP signs and oil coming out of the pipes. As a real plumber, you just know that's all Mario should be dealing with. Forget the Princess. Save the ocean! Hey, that could be an interesting story idea. instead of having Mario explored new worlds and galaxies, he should travel to Atlantis or something, and go save their princess. Interesting...
Well, I'm off to go pitch my ideas to Nintendo now. See ya.
